Rakhi Sawant is embroiled in a case related to a 2010 suicide. A court in Uttar Pradesh has issued a non-bailable warrant against him. A government lawyer said on Saturday, October 17 that a court here has issued a non-bailable warrant against Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant. This case is related to a suicide that took place 16 years ago, which has once again come into discussion. Rakhi Sawant, who has always been in the headlines for her statements on social media and among people, has now come in the news because of this old case.
Non-bailable warrant issued against Rakhi Sawant
The case pertains to a suicide that took place in 2010, alleging that Rakhi Sawant had made derogatory remarks against a local resident during her TV show. District Government Advocate (Crime) Mridul Kant Srivastava said that Civil Judge (Junior Division) Anjali issued this warrant on Friday, because Rakhi Sawant did not appear in the court despite being called several times.

According to the lawyer, this case is related to Laxman Ahirwar, a resident of Hansari Prem Nagar area of Jhansi. It is alleged that Laxman Ahirwar committed suicide on 10 November 2010 after being hurt by the derogatory comments made by Rakhi Sawant in the TV show ‘Rakhi Ka Insaaf’. Ahirwar’s mother Savitri had lodged a complaint at Prem Nagar police station. He alleged that Rakhi Sawant had used derogatory and objectionable language against his son during an episode of the show aired in October 2010. According to the prosecution, Ahirwar and his wife Anita (who was a resident of Rajgarh) were called to the show due to their marital dispute. Anita had returned to her maternal home after a dispute between husband and wife. Srivastava said that the next hearing of this case will be on December 1.
Rakhi Sawant’s old association with controversies
Recently Rakhi Sawant came into limelight when she made a comment about singer Mika 9 months ago. During a podcast, Rakhi Sawant said- ‘Earlier Mika’s voice was not good, the day he kissed me. His voice became melodious. Mika Bhai, don’t feel bad, you already know the truth. Actually, Rakhi Sawant had accused Mika of forcefully kissing her. This matter is from 2006. Mika Singh had thrown a birthday party. Rakhi had claimed that there Mika lost his temper and forcibly kissed Rakhi Sawant. Rakhi lodged an FIR against the singer on 11 June 2006. A case was registered against Mika Singh under sections 354 and 323 of the IPC. After almost 17 years, this matter was resolved by mutual consent.
