According to the early report of industry tracker Saknilk, the film has collected Rs 7.45 crore at the domestic box office on the first Monday i.e. the fifth day, whereas on Sunday it had collected more than Rs 30 crore. The pre-collection of Peddi was Rs 18.50 crore, while the film earned Rs 51 crore on the first day, Rs 26.90 crore on the second day, Rs 28.85 crore on the third day and Rs 31.90 crore on the fourth day. On the fifth day, the collection got stuck at 7.45 crores and with this its Net India collection has become 164.60 crores and Gross India collection has become 196 crores. The film has crossed the figure of Rs 230 crore worldwide.

Talking about the story of Peddi, it revolves around a daily wage laborer (Ram Charan), who is an expert in cricket and wrestling. Using his skills, he fights for a village that is not on any map. That means this village has not received any recognition from the government. Along with Ram Charan, Jhanvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapati Babu also play important roles in the film.
