Indigo and Akasa Air issued advisory

Many international flights were also affected
The impact of bad weather was not limited to domestic flights only. Akasa Air also canceled some flights to and from Kuwait and Doha. At the same time, Indigo flight to Raipur was diverted to Hyderabad. Delhi-Mumbai and Singapore-Mumbai flights were diverted to Ahmedabad, while Air India’s flight from Kolkata to Mumbai had to land in Vadodara.

Due to rain, the flight schedule at the airport was completely disrupted. On average, departing flights were delayed by about 72 minutes and about 89 percent of flights were behind schedule. At the same time, an average delay of 46 minutes was recorded in the incoming flights and 84 percent of the flights could not reach on time.
