India tour of England: May 2 was a very important day for Indian women’s cricket. BCCI has announced the Indian women’s team for the T20 World Cup 2026 to be played in England from next month. The command of the team has once again been handed over to Harmanpreet Kaur, while Smriti Mandhana has been made the vice-captain. Before the World Cup, Team India will play a 3-match T20I series on England’s soil. The team selected for the World Cup will be seen playing in this series also. The T20I series will be organized from 28 May to 2 June. After this, the Indian team will start its campaign in the T20 World Cup 2026 from June 14. After the World Cup, the Indian women’s cricket team will play a test match against England at Lord’s. The team has also been announced for this match.

- 3rd T20I: June 2, Taunton
- One-off Test: 10-13 July, Lord’s

Apart from the T20I series and T20 World Cup, the Women’s Selection Committee has announced the India-A team for three ODI and three T20I matches against England-A. India-A will play a 3-match T20 series and the same number of ODI series on the England tour.
