The plan of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) to launch residential plot scheme in the beginning of the new year seems to be in vain at present. According to the news of Jagran, the first week of January is about to pass, but the scheme is still stuck at the stage of registration in RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority). YEIDA is set to launch the scheme for a total of 973 residential plots.
According to the news, in fact, the land on which this scheme is proposed has been purchased from the farmers, but till now it has not been registered in the revenue records in the name of YIDA. RERA has asked for documents related to registration of land in the name of YIDA before registration of the scheme. Due to this objection the plan could not be approved.
Total 973 residential plots planned
The authority had decided to launch the scheme for a total of 973 residential plots last December. Of these, 755 plots were earmarked for the general category, while the remaining plots were for the allottees of the reserved category – such as farmer quota and already operational industrial plots. All plots were to be allotted through a lottery process.
Let us tell you here that before launching any housing scheme, its registration in RERA is necessary. Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority had applied for this, but due to lack of complete documents related to land ownership, RERA lodged an objection.
Authority busy in resolving objections
According to the news, the officers and employees of the authority are busy in resolving the objections of RERA soon. Officials say that as soon as the registration process is completed, the scheme will be launched immediately.
Plots are proposed in these sectors
This residential plot scheme is proposed in Sector-15C, 18 and 24A. The scheme covers plots of various sizes:
- 476 plots of 162 square meters
- 4 plots of 183 sq.m.
- 4 plots of 184 sq.m.
- 481 plots of 200 sq.m.
- 6 plots of 223 sq.m.
- 2 plots of 290 sq.m.
Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority is hopeful that the much awaited residential plot scheme will soon be made available to the general public once it gets approval from RERA.
