Mahindra has given a big surprise for SUV lovers. The company has launched the new Star Edition of its popular SUV Thar Roxx. This special edition is not only stylish in looks but also competes with premium cars in terms of features and safety. The special thing is that its design and technology features are so attractive that after seeing it you can forget even luxury cars like Audi or BMW.
Stylish and muscular look
Many changes have been made to the exterior look of the Thar Rocks Star Edition. The piano black front grille and 19-inch piano black alloy wheels make it look even more muscular. Apart from this, the already existing Tango Red, Everest White and Stealth Black options are also available along with a new color named Citrine Yellow.

Premium and comfortable cabin
In the interior, Thar Rocks Star Edition has given a dark and premium theme to the entire cabin. It has all-black leatherette seats with suede accents. There are two large 10.25-inch digital screens on the dashboard, one of which is the touchscreen infotainment system and the other is the digital instrument cluster. Besides, it also has a panoramic sunroof.

In this edition, 83 features are available under Adrenox connected car technology. Also included are wired and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 360-degree all-view camera and 9-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system.

Powerful engine and safety
This model comes in 2.0-litre petrol mStallion TGDi and 2.2-litre diesel mHawk engine options. The petrol engine produces 130 kW and 380 Nm of power, while the diesel engine produces 128.6 kW and 400 Nm of torque. Both engines come with manual and automatic transmission options.
5-star safety
Thar Rocks Star Edition comes with 5-star India NCAP rating. It has features like 6 airbags, tire pressure monitoring, front and rear parking sensors, 360 camera, auto dimming IRVM, SOS e-call and immobilizer. The starting price of Diesel MT is ₹16.85 lakh (ex-showroom). Petrol AT has been priced at ₹17.85 lakh and diesel AT at ₹18.35 lakh.
