
The clouds of crisis over Indigo airline do not seem to be reducing. All domestic flights from Delhi airport have been canceled till Friday night, due to which passengers are facing huge problems. Airport operator DIAL has issued an advisory advising passengers to confirm their flight schedules and be prepared for possible inconveniences in travel.
Huge disruption in flights across the country
According to PTI, more than 400 flights were canceled across the country on Friday and passengers had to wait long at many major airports. IndiGo’s on-time performance has dropped to just 8.5% till December 4, 2025, which shows the continued deteriorating condition of the airline.
Bad condition in Bengaluru and Hyderabad also
More than 100 flights were canceled in Bengaluru on Friday morning, while more than 90 flights were affected at Hyderabad airport. Reports of delays and cancellations were also reported at other airports. Shortage of cabin crew and other internal problems are being cited as the main reasons for the airline’s operational challenges.
Passengers worried, baggage problem also
Stranded passengers complained that they were not only shocked by flight cancellation but were also not being informed about their baggage. Many passengers had to wait for hours, and some said they were even facing delays in getting refunds.

The stock market was also affected by the frequent cancellation of Indigo flights. On Friday, IndiGo shares were trading at Rs 5298.5 on BSE, which is 2.5% decline compared to the previous day. Investor confidence has weakened and analysts say the share price could see further declines if large-scale cancellations continue.

Experts say IndiGo will have to make agility and extra crew arrangements to stabilize its schedule. At present, airline network management remains challenging and passenger dissatisfaction is continuously increasing.
