There is great news for people who are dreaming of owning their own home in Delhi. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has launched the much awaited Towering Heights East Delhi Hub, Karkardooma Housing Scheme of 2026. Under this new housing scheme, common people will get an opportunity to buy 2BHK flats in the prime location of East Delhi, that too on first come first serve basis. Amidst rising property prices, this scheme of DDA is being considered very attractive for both middle class and investors.
A total of 741 flats are being provided under this housing scheme. The DDA administration has also decided the complete outline of the registration and booking process for this. Interested applicants can apply to the scheme with a one-time registration fee of Rs 2500 only. At the same time, for booking each flat, Rs 4 lakh will have to be deposited. The special thing is that there is no restriction on booking more than one flat in the retail category. An applicant can book a maximum of 10 flats, which makes this scheme very important from the investment point of view.
Registration will start from January 8
According to DDA, registrations for this scheme will start from January 8, while the booking process of flats will start from January 23. This housing scheme will remain open till March 31. Applicants will also be provided a detailed brochure related to the scheme, which will have complete information about flats, towers, blocks and other rules. Officials say that the entire allotment process will be transparent and conducted through digital medium.
Special provisions for government employees
Special provision has also been made for government employees in this scheme. 107 flats in one tower of the Towering Heights project have been reserved exclusively for government employees. These include towers like Pirpanjal, Vindhya, Shivalik and Satpura. Employees of Central and State Government, PSUs, Universities, Institutions and Autonomous Bodies will be able to avail the benefits of this block allocation.
