Yamaha Motor India has recalled more than 3 lakh scooter models. Giving this information on Friday, the company said that the company has taken this big step to repair the defect in the brake part of the scooter. Yamaha Motor India announced that it is recalling 3,06,635 units of its RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid scooter models. The company also said that the defective brake part will be replaced free of charge in all vehicles affected under the recall, so that customers can use their scooters safely.
There is a defect in the scooters made during this period
According to the company’s statement, this voluntary recall campaign has been launched for those 125cc scooter models which were manufactured between May 2, 2024 and September 3, 2025. Yamaha explained that the purpose of this voluntary recall is to ensure that the function of the front brake caliper may be limited under certain operating conditions. This problem has been found in some units of RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid.
RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid

It has a 125 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine. The engine produces a maximum power of 6.0kW(8.2PS)/6500r/min and a maximum torque of 10.3 Nm(1.1kgf.m)/5000 r/min. The RayZR’s engine works in conjunction with the SMG to charge the onboard battery.
