Nitin Gadkari’s answer
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that Sir, what this honorable member is doing is right. This path started in 2009 and I became a minister in 2014. Actually, this old State PWD was given to the then government. He started. This was a problem of land acquisition. Till now many contractors have changed. Don’t know what the reason is. A lot of action was also taken. But now about 89 percent work has been completed and this completed road will be completed within April this year (2026) and there will be no problem in it. There was a lot of delay in this, I accept that.
This casual and respectful manner of Nitin Gadkari caught the attention of everyone in the House, because it shows how seriously and sensitively the central leadership takes the issue of public interest raised by a public representative. The incident also underlines the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability.
