In the era of rising property prices and expensive home loans, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has once again brought affordable housing for the common and middle class. Under the Citizen Housing Scheme 2026, DDA has announced to put up 1712 flats for sale in the capital, on which direct discount of up to 25 percent is being given. The special thing is that the entire process has been kept online, making buying a house easier than ever.

Registration started from Saturday

DDA has started the registration process for flats under the scheme from Saturday. Interested buyers can apply by visiting the official website of DDA. After registration, booking of flats will start from January 28. According to DDA officials, the objective of this scheme is to provide affordable and safe housing to as many people as possible.

Flats will be available in Narela and Siraspur

This scheme includes flats built in Narela and Siraspur areas of Delhi. 298 HIG, 459 MIG, 481 LIG and 63 EWS flats have been made available in Narela. At the same time, 411 LIG flats have been kept in Siraspur. With the option of flats according to different income groups, first time home buyers are also expected to get special benefits.

The booking process will be completely online

This time DDA has kept the entire booking process online. Applicants will not only be able to register sitting at home, but will also get the facility to make payment and upload documents. This will increase transparency and also reduce the role of brokers.

You will also get a chance in premium housing scheme

Apart from this, online e-auction of 582 flats and garages will also be conducted under the Premium Housing Scheme 2026. Registration for this can be done till 13th February, while the process of e-auction will start from 23rd February.
