How to make Butter Garlic Naan
- Add water, milk, curd, oil and powdered sugar in a bowl and mix well. After this, add all-purpose flour and wheat flour and mix until all the flour is mixed together.
- When the dough is kneaded, place it in an oiled bowl. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and let it rest for 2 hours. If you have time, you can keep the dough for a few more hours.
- After the stipulated time, divide the dough into equal sizes. Place the prepared balls on an oiled baking tray or plate and again add a few drops of oil on them to prevent them from drying.
- To cook naan, you will need a pan which is non-stick. Apply dry flour on the dough ball and roll it into a thick and round shape with the help of a rolling pin.
- After this, apply garlic, nigella and green coriander on the surface and roll it like chapatti. Hold it from one side and pull it so that it takes an oval shape. Lift the naan and apply water on the back side.
- Place the naan on the hot pan with the watery side down and cook on high flame for 10-15 seconds till bubbles appear. Cook it until the naan becomes light golden on top. Keep rotating the pan on the flame so that the naan gets cooked evenly from all sides.
- After cooking, with the help of a spatula, remove the naan from the pan and place it on a chopping board and apply melted butter on it. Your butter naan is ready.
