Perizaad considers herself an accidental actress. After completing her studies in India, she went to New York to pursue her MBA. There, through a friend, he was introduced to the famous Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. The world of acting attracted him so much that after completing his management degree, he learned the tricks of acting there for a year. His father also fully supported his decision. After this she returned to India and started taking charge of her family business.

While handling the business, Perizaad’s life took a new turn. She was noticed by a modeling coordinator at a family function, which landed her her first advertisement for ‘Fair and Lovely’. After this, Nagesh Kukunoor cast him for the lead role opposite Om Puri in his film ‘Bollywood Calling’. On one hand, Perizaad was acting and on the other hand she was also looking after her business. Later, he worked in unconventional films like ‘Jogger Park’, ‘Mumbai Matinee’ and ‘Morming Raaga’. There came a time when his father asked him to choose between business or acting and Perizaad then chose films. After this, she appeared in the film ‘Ek Ajnabee’ with Amitabh Bachchan and was also a part of the TV show ‘Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye’.
Rejected big films after marriage
At the age of 33, Perizad married businessman Boman Rustam Irani. After a year of marriage, when their first child was born, they decided to focus completely on the family. During this period, he refused many big projects, which included Subhash Ghai’s ‘Black and White’ and Nikhil Advani’s multi-starrer film ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’.
Managed business in difficult times
While Perizaad was busy with TV and theatre, her father’s poultry business was going through some difficulties. Perizaad decided to return and revive his ancestral work. According to media reports, today the annual turnover of Zorabian Chicken has reached approximately ₹ 120 crore and more than 700 employees work in the company. Perizad believes that she runs her business not like a strict boss, but with love and passion. Today Perizad is very happy in his personal and professional life.
