ICC T20I Ranking: Indian women’s cricket team’s 21-year-old young spin bowler Shri Charani has created history. Within just a year of her international debut, she has become the world number-1 T20 bowler. Shri Charani currently has 753 rating points. Mr Charani played his first T20 match on June 28 last year. Her performance in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 being played in England has been excellent, where she has taken 10 wickets in only 3 matches. He has now got the benefit of his brilliant performance in the World Cup in the ICC rankings.

England’s bowlers gained 4 points in ICC rankings.

In the new rankings released by ICC, India’s Shree Charani has captured the number-1 position, leaving England’s Linsey Smith behind. At present, Shri Charani is at first place with 753 points, while England’s Charlie Dean has reached second place with 733 points after taking 5 wickets in 3 matches. England’s Linsey Smith has now slipped to third place with 726 points and her teammate Sophie Ecclestone has jumped four places to fourth place. Players from other teams have also benefited from this list of bowlers. In this, West Indies captain Hayley Matthews has reached 11th position, Australia’s Kim Garth has reached 20th position, Pakistan captain Fatima Sana has reached 25th position and Ireland’s Orla Prendergast has reached 26th position.

Shafali Verma and Harmanpreet got advantage in the ranking of batsmen

According to the new ICC rankings, there has been no major change in the number 1 position in the list of women T20 batsmen. Australia’s opening batsman Georgia Woll is still the No. 1 batsman, while her teammate Beth Mooney has moved up one place to No. 2. Talking about the Indian team, young opener Shafali Verma has gained one place and has reached sixth position. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur has moved up one place to 10th position. Apart from this, Sophie Devine of New Zealand has secured 11th position, Orla Prendergast of Ireland has secured 13th position and Nigar Sultana Joti of Bangladesh has secured 20th position.
