After getting married quietly in February, he has now officially completed the marriage registration with his wife Sophie Sain. Dhawan, who reached Gurugram in a very simple manner, stood in the queue like a common citizen and completed all the legal procedures.
Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan reached the marriage registrar office in Gurugram on May 6, where he registered his marriage with his wife Sophie Sain. During this, both of them signed the necessary documents in the presence of family members. Dhawan was seen in a dark blue T-shirt at the registrar office, while Sophie Sain was wearing a light sky colored top. During this, a light moment was also seen, when someone jokingly asked whether Pandit ji’s photo was coming or not.
According to the information, Shikhar Dhawan reached Vikas Sadan without any noise, completed all the formalities in about 25 minutes and returned quietly from there. During this time, he did not take any special arrangement and followed the procedure by standing in line like common people.
The wedding ceremony took place in February
It is noteworthy that Shikhar Dhawan and Sophie Saine got married in a private ceremony in Delhi-NCR on 21 February 2026. Only close family and friends were invited to the ceremony. The two met in Dubai and after dating for about a year, they made their relationship public in 2025.
Sophie Saine is currently handling the work of Shikhar Dhawan Foundation. Both of them got engaged on January 12 this year. Their wedding and pre-wedding functions also witnessed a beautiful fusion of Indian and Irish traditions. Fans are continuously congratulating Shikhar Dhawan for the beginning of his new life.
