UPI

To curb cyber fraud, the rules for UPI and other digital payments made through bank accounts are being made stricter. To prevent cyber fraud, the rules of mobile SIM verification will be tightened, so that large-scale cyber crimes can be controlled.

PM Kisan

Farmers availing the benefits of PM Kisan will now need a unique farmer ID. This change is being made to provide benefits to maximum eligible farmers under PM Kisan Yojana and to identify fake beneficiaries.

8th pay commission

The 8th Pay Commission will be implemented across the country from January 1. Under the 8th Pay Commission, increase in salary and pension of central government employees and pensioners will be implemented, which will be given to them later along with arrears.

The last date for linking Aadhaar and PAN is December 31, 2025. If a person does not link his Aadhaar and PAN by December 31, his PAN number will become inactive from January 1, 2026.

Apart from all this, new prices of LPG gas cylinder, PNG, CNG and ATF (aviation fuel) will be released on January 1.
