
Indian Railways has announced to run a special train between the capital Delhi and Varanasi for the convenience of passengers. This special service is especially to handle the heavy rush during New Year. According to the information released by Northern Railway, a total of 6 trips of this extra superfast train will run, in which 1st AC, AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper and General class facilities will be available.
Train number 04024 from Delhi to Varanasi will run on 27 December, 29 December and 31 December 2025. At the same time, train number 04023 returning from Varanasi to Delhi will run on 28 December, 30 December and 1 January 2026. This service is especially important for passengers as it will ease travel during peak season and reduce the problem of long queues and shortage of tickets.

Train 04024 will depart from Delhi Junction at 7:25 pm. En route, stopping at Ghaziabad Junction, Moradabad Junction, Lucknow, Rae Bareli Junction and Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh Junction, it will reach Varanasi Junction at 9:40 am the next day. At the same time, train 04023 will leave from Varanasi at 6:35 pm and will reach Delhi Junction at 8:50 am, taking stoppages at stations like Lucknow, Moradabad, Ghaziabad, Rae Bareli, and Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh.
