hero MotoCorp said on Monday that its total sales in November increased by 31 percent year-on-year to 6,04,490 units. The two-wheeler manufacturing company had sold 4,59,805 vehicles in the same month last year. Hero MotoCorp said in a statement that domestic sales last month stood at 5,70,520 units, compared to 4,39,777 units at the same time last year. During this period, the company exported 33,970 vehicles, whereas in November last year, Hero had exported 20,028 motorcycles.
Royal Enfield sales increase by 22 percent
The total sales of leading motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield also increased by 22 percent year-on-year to 1,00,670 units in November. The company had sold 82,257 vehicles in November 2024. Royal Enfield said in a statement on Monday that its domestic sales stood at 90,405 units in November. This is 25 percent more than 72,236 units in November 2024. The company said that its exports in the month of November increased marginally by 2 percent to 10,265 units as against 10,021 units in the same month last year.
Bajaj Auto sales decline
On the other hand, Bajaj Auto sales recorded a decline in November. Bajaj Auto’s domestic two-wheeler sales in November declined one percent year-on-year to 2,02,510 units. Bajaj had sold 2,03,611 vehicles in November 2024. The Pune-based vehicle manufacturing company said in its information to the stock market on Monday that the total wholesale sales of vehicles including exports increased by 8 percent on an annual basis in November to 4,53,273 units. 4,21,640 vehicles were sold in November last year.
Total domestic sales including commercial vehicles increased by 3 percent
Bajaj Auto said that total domestic sales, including commercial vehicles, increased by 3 percent to 2,47,516 units in November compared to 2,40,854 vehicles sold in the same month last year. Total exports increased 14 percent to 2,05,757 vehicles in November from 1,80,786 vehicles year-on-year. Total two-wheeler sales, including exports, increased by three percent year-on-year to 3,79,714 units in November.
