To link, two forms will have to be filled
To link LPG gas connection with Aadhaar, you will have to fill two forms. Form 1 and Form 2 and have to submit them to your LPG connection provider. Form 1 is the form for LPG customers to link your bank account with Aadhaar, and Form 2 is the LPG linking form. You can download these forms online or collect them by visiting the LPG distributor’s office.
Online method of Aadhaar-LPG link
First of all, understand one thing that LPG Aadhaar linking is not completely online. You can just download the forms which have to be submitted later.
Step 1: Visit the official website of your LPG gas connection provider like Indane, Bharat Gas, HP Gas.
Step 2: Go to “LPG Services” section and click on ‘Join DBTL using Aadhaar’ or ‘Download Forms’ option.
Step 3: Form 1: Bank Account-Aadhaar Linking Application Form (only for LPG consumers) and Form 2 LPG Aadhaar Linking Form
Download both these forms and take a print out.
Step 4: Fill Form 1, attach the copy of Aadhaar card with it and submit it to your bank or LPG distributor office. With this your Aadhaar will be linked to your bank account for LPG.
Step 5: Fill Form 2, attach the required documents and submit it to the LPG distributor office, so that your Aadhaar number can be linked to the LPG consumer number or ID.
When the details provided by you are verified, your Aadhaar will be linked to the gas connection.
Offline method of Aadhaar-LPG link
Step 1: Go to your nearest LPG distributor office and collect Form 1 and Form 2 from there.
Step 2: Fill Form 1 and submit it to the bank or distributor office along with the copy of Aadhar card.
Step 3: Fill Form 2 and submit it to the LPG distributor office along with the required documents, so that Aadhaar and LPG consumer number can be linked.
You can also link Aadhaar-LPG through post.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the LPG provider and download Form 1 and Form 2.
Step 2: Fill Form 1 and submit it to your bank along with the copy of Aadhar card, so that Aadhar can be linked to the bank account.
Step 3: After linking with Aadhaar bank account, fill Form 2 and send it by post to the prescribed address of your LPG distributor office along with necessary documents.
