
central Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said on Tuesday that a data center will soon be set up in Jaipur. Along with this, he also announced to give training to 5000 youth for manufacturing electronic products. While addressing ‘Rajasthan DigiFest Tie Global Summit’, Vaishnav said that Stanford University has released an index of AI, in which India has been ranked among the top 3 countries. This is a matter of pride for the country.
IT industry is the strength of the country’s economy
The minister said, “China, America and India are among the top three countries. India’s IT industry is a huge force for our economy. Rajasthan has a big role in it. In such a situation, preparing the IT industry for this new era, making it capable for new technology and preparing students for this industry plays a big role. Today, the program to train 10 lakh youth in AI skills has started from Rajasthan. All the youth of the country will benefit from this.
AI and machine learning policy implemented in Rajasthan
Ashwini Vaishnav thanked Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma for implementing AI and Machine Learning policy in Rajasthan and said that Rajasthan will benefit a lot from this policy and the state will become a big tech center in the coming times. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said, “The government is making efforts at different levels to develop a better environment for tech startups in the state. Today, Rajasthan is moving beyond e-governance and digital inclusion to becoming a leader in AI.”
Public service delivery will become faster than policy
CM said, “AI is the next phase of our digital journey. Taking another step in this direction, AI and Machine Learning Policy has been implemented. This policy will make public service delivery faster, transparent and citizen-centric. This will increase administrative efficiency and encourage innovation-based economic growth.”
