Indian Railways: This year, Holi festival will be celebrated across the country on March 4. As the date of Holi is approaching, the number of passengers in trains has started increasing rapidly. Keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers going from home to village for Holi, Indian Railways is running hundreds of special trains. In this connection, East Central Railway of Indian Railways has announced to run new special trains on 5 different routes. East Central Railway has shared the details of these 10 special trains running in the up-down direction. These special trains will reach UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Pt. People living in Bengal and Odisha will benefit.
Train Number- 05060/05059, Lalkuan-Kolkata-Lalkuan Special
Train No. 05060, Lalkuan-Kolkata Holi Special train will depart from Lalkuan at 13.35 hrs every Thursday from March 5 to March 26 and will reach Kolkata at 23.55 hrs the next day on Friday. In return, Train No. 05059, Kolkata-Lalkuan Holi Special train will depart at 05.00 hrs every Saturday from March 7 to March 28 and reach Lalkuan at 15.45 hrs the next day. This train will stop at Gorakhpur, Thawe, Siwan, Chapra, Sonpur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Barauni, Kiul and other major stations during its journey.
Train Number- 05506/05505, Saharsa-Purnia Court-Saharsa Special
Train No. 05506, Saharsa-Purnia Court Holi Special will depart from Saharsa at 13.20 hrs on every Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from March 6 to March 15 and will reach Purnia Court at 15.30 hrs. In return, Train No. 05505, Purnia Court-Saharsa Holi Special will depart from Purnia Court at 15.00 hrs every Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from March 9 to March 17 and reach Saharsa at 18.30 hrs. This train will stop at Madhepura, Murliganj and Banmankhi stations during its journey.
Train Number- 09803/09804, Sogaria-Danapur-Sogaria Special
Train No. 09803, Sogaria-Danapur Holi Special train will depart from Sogaria at 23.10 hrs on March 1 and reach Danapur at 23.45 hrs the next day. In return, Train No. 09804, Danapur-Sogaria Holi Special train will depart from Danapur at 01.15 hrs on 3rd March and reach Sogaria at 01.10 hrs the next day. During its journey, this train will stop at Arrah, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Mirzapur, Prayagraj Chhivki, Satna, Maihar, Katni and other major stations.
Train Number- 03035/03036, Dankuni-Patna-Dankuni Special
Train No. 03035, Dankuni-Patna Holi Special train will depart from Dankuni at 00.30 hrs on 27th February and 4th March and will reach Patna at 14.45 hrs. In return, Train No. 03036, Patna-Dankuni Holi Special train will depart from Patna at 16.15 hrs on 27th February and 4th March and reach Dankuni at 07.00 hrs the next day. This train will stop at Fatuha, Bakhtiyarpur, Mokama, Kiul, Jhajha, Jasidih and other major stations during its journey.
Train Number- 05064/05063, Gomtinagar-Maltipatpur-Gomtinagar Special
Train No. 05064, Gomtinagar-Maltipatpur Holi Special train will depart from Gomtinagar at 18.55 on every Thursday from 26 February to 26 March and will reach Maltipatpur at 03.30 on Saturday. In return, Train No. 05063, Maltipatpur-Gomtinagar Holi Special train will depart from Maltipatpur at 11.15 hrs every Saturday from 28th February to 28th March and will reach Gomtinagar at 20.00 hrs the next day. This special train will be run via Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Sasaram, Dehri on Sone, Gaya.
