Bareilly: Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi has termed Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s marriage with Nidhi Razdan as illegitimate. He has issued a fatwa against CM Abdullah. According to the information, National President of All India Muslim Jamaat, Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi has issued a fatwa calling this marriage illegitimate. Maulana said that some principles have been laid down for marriage in Islam.
Maulana said- Abdullah and Razdan’s marriage is illegitimate in the eyes of Islam.
Maulana said that for marriage in Islam, it is necessary for both the boy and the girl to be Muslims. If one of them is not a Muslim, then that marriage cannot be considered valid. Here Omar Abdullah is a Muslim and Nidhi Razdan is a non-Muslim woman. Now both of them got married, so in such circumstances this marriage is illegitimate in the eyes of Islam.
Maulana Mufti Shahabuddin Razvi said that Omar Abdullah should have first converted Nidhi Razdan to Islam. Get Kalma taught. After this they would get married. Then this marriage would have been legitimate. But nothing like this happened here, hence this marriage is illegitimate.
