Material
- Macaroni: 2 cups
- Onion: 1 large (finely chopped)
- Tomatoes: 2 large (finely chopped or puree)
- Green chilli: 2 (finely chopped)
- Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
- Capsicum: 1 (finely chopped)
- Spices: ½ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp garam masala
- Maggi masala (or pasta masala): 1 packet (to enhance taste)
- Tomato Ketchup: 2 tbsp
- Oil or butter: 2 tbsp
- Coriander: finely chopped
- Salt: as per taste

First of all, boil 4-5 cups of water in a vessel. When water boils, add half teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon oil. Now add macaroni to it and let it boil on medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes. When the macaroni becomes soft, turn off the gas and filter the water and wash it with cold water.
Step 2
Now heat oil or butter in a pan. Add finely chopped green chillies and ginger-garlic paste and fry for a few seconds. After this add chopped onion and cook till it turns light pink.
Step 3
After frying the onion, add chopped tomatoes to it and cook until the tomatoes melt. Now add finely chopped capsicum and fry for 2 minutes. After this add turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala and salt as per taste and mix well.
Step 4
When the spices start releasing oil, add tomato ketchup and Maggi masala. Now put the boiled macaroni in the pan and mix it with the spices gently so that the macaroni does not break. Let it cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes so that the flavor of all the spices penetrates inside the macaroni.
Step 5
Your hot and spicy masala macaroni is ready. Switch off the gas, add finely chopped coriander on top and enjoy it with strong evening tea.
