The problem of hair fall has increased

Dr. Arika Bansal says that nowadays people are seeing a lot of hair related problems. Especially, the problem of hair fall. Many factors are responsible behind this. For example, in a country like India, when people go out of the house, dust, soil and sweat accumulates in the roots of the hair. In such a situation, it is important to wash them. But most of the people do not wash hair frequently which becomes a reason for hair fall.

How many days should you wash your hair?

According to Arika Bansal, there is a lot of dust in India, hence people should wash their hair not two days but four to five times a week. Because only when your scalp is clean, the hair will become stronger from the roots. If you stay inside a lot, go out less, your exposure is less then you can reduce the frequency. Dirt accumulated in the hair roots weakens the scalp. At the same time, she advises teenagers to wash their hair daily.

Also keep these things in mind:

Shampoos with hard chemicals weaken the hair, hence always wash the hair with sulphate free shampoo only. Sulfate free shampoo protects the hair from getting damaged and also conditioner should always be applied on the hair and not on the scalp.
