Nissan India is bringing a new sub-4 meter MPV. The company announced its name on Thursday. This new MPV will come under the name of NISSAN Gravity. NISSAN Gravitas is expected to be launched in January 2026 and will be available in showrooms by March. The company is taking initiatives to re-strengthen its hold in the Indian automobile market. In this direction, the company is preparing to launch three completely new models, which include compact SUV Tekton, a new 7-seater SUV and a sub-4 meter MPV. While Nissan has already teased the Tekton SUV, now the company has revealed the exterior design of its upcoming sub-4 meter MPV.
New designed grill in front
Nissan Gravitas has been developed on the platform of Renault Triber. Its front has a newly designed grille, sharp and sleek headlamps and redesigned bumpers, which give it a different and more attractive look than the Triber. Mild but effective changes have also been made in the side profile and rear part, due to which the overall look of the MPV appears more premium and modern.
Designed keeping the family car segment in mind
In terms of design, Nissan Gravite has been specially designed keeping the family car segment in mind. Its boxy body hints at better cabin space, while the high stance and long roofline give it a rugged and stylish SUV-like appeal. With the Tekton compact SUV and the upcoming 7-seater SUV, the Gravite MPV, the company hopes to further strengthen its presence in the family car segment. More information regarding the features, engine options and price of this MPV is likely to be revealed in the coming time.
Made in India car
The company today said that the Nissan Gravity car is completely made in India and made for India.
