The country’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train can be seen running on the tracks carrying passengers by the end of December. Indian Railways also wants to inaugurate the country’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper train on time, for which preparations are going on in full swing. The country’s first Vande Bharat sleeper train will run between the country’s capital Delhi and Bihar’s capital Patna, passing through major cities of Uttar Pradesh. The maximum operational speed of this sleeper Vande Bharat Express will be 160 km per hour.
Vande Bharat Sleeper ran at a speed of 180 km per hour during trials
Indian Railways ran the Vande Bharat sleeper at a speed of 180 km per hour during trials. However, during commercial services, it is planned to run with a top speed of 160 kmph only. The country’s first hi-tech Vande Bharat sleeper train, to be run between New Delhi and Rajendra Nagar (Patna), will have a total of 16 coaches, with a total of 827 berths. According to reports, the 16-coach Vande Bharat Sleeper train will have 24 First Class AC berths, 188 Second Class AC berths and 611 Third Class AC berths.
The number of coaches will be increased if needed
Vande Bharat Sleeper train will have modern amenities for passengers with a brand new look interior. Till now, the interior of any sleeper train in India was not like that which will be found in Vande Bharat Sleeper. Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will have automatic doors, bio-toilets, CCTV cameras, personal reading lights and premium quality comfortable and comfortable seats for the convenience of passengers. Vande Bharat sleeper train will be equipped with advanced safety technologies like armor system, crash-proof design. In this train, which started services with 16 coaches, the number of coaches can be increased to 24 if required.
