Share Market Closing 13 January, 2026: After 5 consecutive days of decline in the stock market, the market closed with gains on Monday. However, today once again the market changed its course and again closed in the red with a loss. On Tuesday, BSE Sensex closed at 83,627.69 points, down 250.48 points (0.30%). Whereas, NSE’s Nifty 50 index closed at 25,732.30 points with a loss of 57.95 points (0.42 percent). Let us tell you that on Monday, Sensex closed at 83,878.17 points with a gain of 301.93 points (0.36%) and Nifty closed at 25,790.25 points with a gain of 106.95 points (0.42 percent).
Tremendous fluctuations in the shares of Eternal and Trent
On Tuesday, shares of only 10 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the green with gains and shares of all the remaining 20 companies closed in the red with a decline. Similarly, today the shares of only 18 out of 50 companies of Nifty 50 closed in the green with gains and the shares of all the remaining 32 companies closed in the red with losses. Today, among the Sensex companies, Eternal’s shares closed with the maximum gain of 3.24 percent and Trent’s shares closed with the maximum fall of 3.39 percent.

Today, among the remaining Sensex companies, shares of Tech Mahindra closed with a gain of 1.74 percent, ICICI Bank 1.66 percent, State Bank of India 1.32 percent, TCS 0.99 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.37 percent, Infosys 0.13 percent, NTPC 0.07 percent, HDFC Bank 0.06 percent and Power Grid closed with a gain of 0.04 percent.

Whereas, shares of L&T 3.25 percent, Reliance Industries 2.14 percent, IndiGo 1.95 percent, Maruti Suzuki 1.13 percent, ITC 1.09 percent, Adani Ports 1.05 percent, BEL 1.04 percent, Axis Bank 0.88 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.84 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.64 percent, Mahindra & Shares of Mahindra closed down by 0.62 per cent, UltraTech Cement 0.48 per cent, Sun Pharma 0.45 per cent, Asian Paints 0.41 per cent, Tata Steel 0.38 per cent, Bajaj Finance 0.30 per cent, HCL Tech 0.19 per cent, Titan 0.13 per cent and Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.06 per cent.
