Share Market Closing 30 December, 2025: On Tuesday, the domestic stock market declined for the 5th consecutive day. However, today the market closed with a slight decline. Today BSE Sensex closed at 84,675.08 points, down 20.46 points (0.02%). Whereas, NSE’s Nifty 50 index closed at 25,938.85 points with a marginal loss of 3.25 points (0.01 per cent). Let us tell you that today Sensex opened with a fall of 94.55 points (0.11%) at 84,600.99 points and Nifty opened at 25,940.90 points with a slight loss of 1.20 points (0.00%).
Shares of 17 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the red.
On Tuesday, out of 30 Sensex companies, shares of only 12 companies closed in the green mark with a rise and the shares of the remaining 17 companies closed in the red mark with a decline and the shares of Hindustan Unilever closed without any change. Similarly, today, out of 50 Nifty 50 companies, shares of only 22 companies closed in the green with gains and shares of all the remaining 28 companies closed in the red with losses. Today, the shares of Tata Steel, included in the Sensex companies, closed with the highest gain of 2.03 percent for the second consecutive day and the shares of Eternal closed with the maximum fall of 2.10 percent.

Today, among the remaining Sensex companies, shares of Mahindra & Mahindra 2.00 percent, Bajaj Finserv 1.66 percent, Axis Bank 1.13 percent, State Bank of India 0.88 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.87 percent, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles 0.81 percent, L&T 0.50 percent, Adani Ports 0.47 percent, Maruti Suzuki 0.26 percent. Shares of Sun Pharma closed with gains of 0.19 percent and BEL shares of 0.04 percent.
Decline recorded in these stocks including Infosys, Asian Paints
On the other hand, on Tuesday, Infosys stocks fell 1.28 percent, Asian Paints 1.09 percent, UltraTech Cement 0.84 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.76 percent, HCL Tech 0.52 percent, ITC 0.45 percent, Titan 0.40 percent, Trent 0.39 percent, Reliance Industries 0.29 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.19 percent, TCS Shares of NTPC closed down by 0.19 per cent, NTPC by 0.12 per cent, PowerGrid by 0.12 per cent, HDFC Bank by 0.09 per cent, ICICI Bank by 0.08 per cent and Tech Mahindra by 0.03 per cent.
