However, in families where there are twin daughters, accounts can be opened for more than two daughters. You can open Sukanya Samriddhi account in the name of your daughter in any bank or post office of the country. If your daughter is currently 1 year old and you open your daughter’s account under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana this year, then your daughter can get Rs 46,18,385 when the account matures, for this you will have to invest Rs 1,00,000 every year for 15 years. That means, you will have to save Rs 8,334 every month for the bright future of your daughter.
