Share Market Closing 23 December, 2025: On Tuesday, the second day of the week, there was a lot of ups and downs in the domestic stock market and in the end the market closed flat. Today BSE Sensex closed at 85,524.84 points with a fall of 42.64 points (0.05%). Whereas, NSE’s Nifty 50 index closed at 26,177.15 points with a marginal gain of 4.75 points (0.02 percent). Let us tell you that on Monday the market had closed the trading with a huge gain. Yesterday, BSE Sensex closed at 85,567.48 points with a gain of 638.12 points (0.75 percent) and Nifty closed at 26,172.40 points with a jump of 206.00 points (0.79 percent).
Big fall in Infosys shares
On Tuesday, shares of only 13 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the green with gains and shares of all the remaining 17 companies closed in the red with a decline. Similarly, today the shares of only 24 out of 50 companies of Nifty 50 closed in the green with gains and the shares of all the remaining 26 companies closed in the red with losses. Today, among the Sensex companies, shares of ITC closed with the maximum gain of 1.43 percent and shares of IT company Infosys closed with the maximum fall of 1.45 percent.
