According to a report by Live Hindustan, there will be a fixed fare of Rs 30 for the initial 4 km journey on Bharat Taxi app. After 4 km and up to 12 km, the fare for each km will be Rs 23. If you go above 12 km, the fare for each km will be Rs 18.
Understand the mathematics of rent with an example
For example, if you have to travel 12 km then the fare for the first 4 km will be Rs 30 (fixed) and then from 5th km to 12th km (8 km) it will be Rs 23 at Rs 184. Now by adding 30 and 184, the total cost for your 12 km journey will be Rs 214. Similarly, if you have to travel 15 km, then the fare for the first 4 km will be Rs 30 (fixed) and from 5th km to 15th km (11 km) it will be Rs 198 (fixed). Now by adding Rs 30 and Rs 198, the total cost for your 15 km journey will be Rs 228.
