If you are dreaming of bringing home a car from luxury car brand Audi this year, then there is an important news for you. German luxury car manufacturer Audi has decided to increase the prices of its cars in India. The entire Audi range is going to become expensive from April 1, 2026. With the beginning of the new financial year, the company is going to increase the prices of all its models by 2 percent. This means that to buy an Audi, you will now have to stretch your pocket a little more.

Audi India has clarified in its statement that this decision has not been taken suddenly. According to the company, the input cost (cost of raw materials) has been continuously increasing for some time. Additionally, fluctuations in foreign exchange rates are also affecting the company’s profits. Balbir Singh Dhillon, head of Audi India, said that due to increase in input costs and currency fluctuations, we are adjusting the prices by up to 2 percent from April 1, 2026. However, our endeavor is to minimize the burden of this increase on our customers.

How much will it affect your pocket?

Audi India currently sells vehicles ranging from the entry-level Q3 SUV to the top-end RSQ8 in the Indian market. Their prices start from ₹43.23 lakh to ₹2.34 crore (ex-showroom). If we look at a 2% increase, the Q3 SUV could become costlier by around ₹86,000 to ₹90,000. Whereas the price of RSQ8 or any other expensive luxury cars can see an increase of ₹ 4 lakh to ₹ 5 lakh.

What is the right time to buy?

This change in prices will be effective from April 1, 2026. In such a situation, experts believe that customers who are planning to buy Audi have time till March 31 to book at the old prices. This will not only save you from increased prices, but you can also take advantage of other offers available at the end of the financial year.
