Regarding the recent trade deal between India and America, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on Thursday said that this deal is not going to cause any loss to the farmers. He says that India’s interests will never be compromised. While talking to INDIA TV, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has never let the country bow down. He said that in all the trade deals done so far, including with America, the interests of farmers have been completely protected. I am saying this with full responsibility.

‘We believe in powerful communication’

In the conversation, Chauhan further said that the interests of the farmers are completely safe and they have not been affected anywhere. We believe in powerful dialogue, not controversy. This deal is truly a unique example of diplomacy, development and dignity.

The Prime Minister has always followed his words

When Shivraj Singh Chouhan was asked about the deal, when the talks were going on, were you kept in the loop as a minister of the Government of India? On this he said that I clearly say that the Prime Minister has done two things of which I am proud as a citizen. The Prime Minister said, I will not let the country bow down. He never allowed himself to bow down. Second, he had said that there would be no compromise with the farmers’ interest, even if there is personal loss. Chauhan said that the interests of farmers are completely protected in this deal made under the leadership of the Prime Minister.
