America And public donation campaigns are being run at various places in Kashmir to provide financial help to Iran which is facing Israeli attacks. From the elderly to small children of Kashmir, people are donating their savings in this campaign being run to help Iran. Meanwhile, in an auction held on Tuesday, the bid for an obsolete 50 paise coin reached Rs 17,000. The donation campaign started in Kashmir on Sunday continued for the third day and an emotional scene was seen in Mir Behari area of Dal Lake.
5 year old child brought piggy bank to donate
A 5-year-old boy who came to help Iran donated his piggy bank to relief efforts in Lati locality of Mir Behari. The boy had also deposited a coin of 50 paise in an earthen piggy bank. Nasir Ahmed, who lives in Mir Behari, said, “Although the 50 paisa coin is no longer accepted in the market, the organizers, understanding the feelings of the child, put the 50 paisa coin up for auction. After this, there was an outpouring of emotions for Iran.”
Javed Ahmed Sufi bid Rs 17,000 for 5 paise coin
Bidding for a 50 paise coin started at Rs 5 and kept increasing rapidly. It finally settled for the final bid of Rs 17,000 placed by another local resident Javed Ahmed Sufi. Javed Ahmed Sufi said that this 50 paisa coin shows the generosity of giving up the things one loves, no matter how small they are. Let us tell you that due to the attacks by America and Israel, Iran is suffering huge loss of life and property. According to a PTI report, Iran’s Health Ministry has said that the death toll of its citizens in the conflict has increased to more than 1,500
