Share Market Closing 29 December, 2025: On Monday, the first day of the week, there was a lot of ups and downs in the domestic stock market and in the end it closed with a big fall. Today the market had started flat. On Monday, BSE Sensex closed at 84,695.54 points, down 345.91 points (0.41%). Whereas, NSE’s Nifty 50 index closed at 25,942.10 points with a loss of 100.20 points (0.38 percent). Let us tell you that today Sensex opened with a fall of 36.70 points (0.04%) at 85,004.75 points and Nifty opened with a gain of 21.05 points (0.08%) at 26,063.35 points.
Big fall in Adani Ports shares
On Monday, shares of only 8 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the green with gains and shares of all the remaining 22 companies closed in the red with a decline. Similarly, today the shares of only 17 out of 50 companies of Nifty 50 closed in the green with gains and the shares of all the remaining 33 companies closed in the red with losses. Today, among the Sensex companies, shares of Tata Steel closed with the maximum gain of 1.83 percent and shares of Adani Ports closed with the maximum fall of 2.22 percent.
These Sensex stocks sank investors’ money
On Monday, among the remaining Sensex companies, shares of Power Grid 1.86 percent, HCL Tech 1.83 percent, Trent 1.36 percent, BEL 1.26 percent, Bharti Airtel 1.14 percent, Reliance Industries 0.88 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 0.81 percent, TCS 0.80 percent, Infosys 0.59 percent, ICICI Bank 0.54 percent, ITC 0.47 per cent, Bajaj Finserv 0.35 per cent, Maruti Suzuki 0.28 per cent, Bajaj Finance 0.22 per cent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.17 per cent, L&T 0.17 per cent, State Bank of India 0.16 per cent, Titan 0.15 per cent, Sun Pharma 0.11 per cent, HDFC Bank 0.09 per cent, Tech Mahindra 0.07 per cent. And shares of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles closed 0.06 percent lower.
Shares of these companies closed with gains
On the other hand, today shares of Asian Paints rose by 1.00 percent, Eternal by 0.48 percent, NTPC by 0.45 percent, Axis Bank by 0.33 percent, Hindustan Unilever by 0.29 percent and UltraTech Cement by 0.13 percent.
