It is said that no matter what the circumstances are, if the intentions are strong then luck will make its own way. The life of Ramesh Babu of Bengaluru is a living example of this saying. At an age when children are busy with school and sports, Ramesh became the support of the family by selling milk and newspapers. Today the same Ramesh Babu owns more than 400 luxury vehicles like Rolls-Royce, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
Burden of responsibilities at a young age
Ramesh Babu was born in an ordinary family. After the death of his father, the financial condition of the house became very weak. At the age of just 13, he started distributing newspapers and milk and also took care of his father’s small barber shop. These circumstances made him mature before time and taught him the real meaning of hard work.
Didn’t give up studies, kept dreams alive
Despite financial constraints, Ramesh did not compromise with his studies. College during the day and salon in the evening became his daily routine. His hard work paid off and he obtained a Diploma in Electronics. This education strengthened both his technical understanding and self-confidence.
Business started from a van
The year 1993 became the turning point in Ramesh Babu’s life. With his savings and the help of his uncle, he bought a Maruti Omni van. Started driving on rent while driving myself. This small step later became the foundation of “Ramesh Tours and Travels”.
Entry into luxury segment
In 2004, Ramesh bought a Mercedes-Benz E-Class for the first time and from here his business started growing to new heights. Gradually his fleet started including expensive cars like Rolls-Royce Ghost, Maybach, Jaguar, Audi and BMW. Due to his professional service, celebrities, big businessmen and corporate clients started connecting with him.
More than 400 vehicles, still connected to the ground
Today Ramesh Babu has more than 400 vehicles, from luxury cars to minibuses and vintage cars. His estimated net worth is said to be around ₹1200 crore. The special thing is that despite so much success, he still visits his old barber shop and lives a simple life.
