
Before the budget, today (Sunday) on the first of February, the consumers of LPG cylinders have been shocked by the oil marketing companies – Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum. The price of commercial LPG gas cylinder has been increased by Rs 50. However, there has been no change in the price of domestic gas cylinder. According to the official website of Indian Oil, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder is available in Delhi for Rs 1740.50 from February 1. Similarly, the price of this cylinder has increased to Rs 1692 in Mumbai. The price of this cylinder in Kolkata has now become Rs 1844.50, while in Chennai it is available for Rs 1899.50.
Review on 1st of every month
Government companies involved in petroleum marketing review the prices of LPG cylinders on the first of every month. Earlier in the month of January, the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders were increased. At the same time, in November and December last year, the prices of these cylinders were reduced by five and ten rupees respectively.
ATF price cut
The prices of aviation fuel i.e. ATF have been reduced from 1 February 2026. In the capital Delhi, the price of one kiloliter of ATF has come down to $ 778.85, which was earlier $ 791.48. In rupee terms, now you will have to pay Rs 91,393.39 for 1,000 liters of ATF, whereas earlier its price was Rs 92,323.02. The price of ATF in Kolkata has fallen to $ 817.19 or Rs 94,445.62 per kilolitre. Whereas in Mumbai its price has been fixed at $ 778.56 or Rs 85,474.63 and in Chennai it has been fixed at $ 774.26 or Rs 94,781.99 per kiloliter.
