Sometimes life tests a person so hard that it seems impossible to move forward after every defeat. But there are some people who consider every failure not as the last but as the next step. One such inspiring story is that of Ankush Sachdeva, co-founder of ShareChat, whose life proves that determination is more important than degree and hard work is more powerful than luck.
Expectations from IIT, but failures in reality
Ankush Sachdeva studied from Kanpur IIT. Generally, on hearing the name of IIT, a wonderful job and a bright future come before the eyes. But this path was not easy for Ankush. According to reports, he faced failure about 17 times in different startup ideas and projects. Every time he felt that perhaps it was difficult to move forward, but he refused to accept defeat.
Didn’t give up dream even after falling again and again
Despite continuous failures, Ankush did not let his dream die. They understood that there are crores of people in India who do not know English but want digital platforms in their own language. This thought later became the turning point of his life. He recognized this gap and envisioned a platform that could connect people in Indian languages.
The birth and great flight of ShareChat
In the year 2015, Ankush Sachdeva along with his friends started ShareChat. It was a native social media platform, which provides an opportunity to share content in Indian languages. The beginning was slow, but gradually this app became the choice of millions of people. Today ShareChat is among the largest Indian social media platforms in the country.
40,000 crore company
Today the valuation of ShareChat is said to be around ₹40,000 crore. This is not just the success of a company, but the victory of the thinking which says that failure is not the end. The same IITian who failed 17 times has today become an inspiration for millions of youth. Ankush Sachdeva’s story is for every youth who starts doubting himself after repeated failures.
