Share Market Closing 15 December, 2025: The Indian stock market once again declined and closed in the red today. On the first day of the week, on Monday, BSE Sensex closed at 85,213.36 points, down by 54.30 points (0.06%). Similarly, NSE’s Nifty 50 index also closed at 26,027.30 points with a loss of 19.65 points (0.08 per cent). Let us tell you that on Friday last week the market had closed the trading with an increase. However, last week the market closed with losses due to the fall in the initial sessions.
Shares of 16 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the red.
On Monday, shares of only 14 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the green with gains and shares of all the remaining 16 companies closed in the red with a decline. Similarly, out of 50 Nifty 50 companies, shares of only 22 companies closed in the green with gains and shares of the remaining 27 companies closed in the red with losses and the shares of one company closed without any change. Today, among the Sensex companies, shares of Hindustan Unilever closed with the maximum gain of 1.37 percent and shares of Mahindra & Mahindra closed with the maximum fall of 1.92 percent.
How was the performance of other Sensex companies today?
Today, among the remaining Sensex companies, shares of Trent 1.11 percent, HCL Tech 0.68 percent, Infosys 0.57 percent, Asian Paints 0.53 percent, Tata Steel 0.52 percent, TCS 0.42 percent, L&T 0.40 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.37 percent, ITC 0.37 percent, State Bank of India 0.33 percent, BEL Shares of 0.28 percent, Eternal 0.08 percent and Reliance Industries closed with a gain of 0.02 percent.
On the other hand, on Monday, shares of Maruti Suzuki fell 0.89 percent, Adani Ports 0.81 percent, Bajaj Finserv 0.75 percent, Titan 0.64 percent, HDFC Bank 0.56 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.54 percent, Bajaj Finance 0.53 percent, PowerGrid 0.53 percent, NTPC 0.37 percent, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Stocks of UltraTech Cement closed down by 0.30 per cent, UltraTech Cement by 0.25 per cent, Tech Mahindra by 0.15 per cent, ICICI Bank by 0.11 per cent, Axis Bank by 0.10 per cent and Sun Pharma by 0.01 per cent.
