Vande Bharat sleeper train: The railway passengers of the country are about to step into a new era. Speed ​​like Tejas, comfort like Rajdhani and cutting-edge technical experience of Vande Bharat, all these are now going to be available in one train. The tiredness of staying overnight in long journeys will now be a thing of the past, as India’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper train is all set to run on the tracks between Patna and Delhi by the end of December. Railways is working in the final stages for this historic launch and passengers are also eagerly waiting for this day.

According to the news published in Hindustan, the finishing of one of the two racks of Vande Bharat Sleeper being prepared at the BEML (Bharat Earth Movers Limited) factory in Bengaluru has been completed. The first rake will leave for Northern Railway on December 12, after which its trial run will be done on the Delhi-Patna route. This hi-tech train will have a total of 16 coaches, which will have 827 berths. There are 611 berths in Third AC, 188 berths in Second AC and 24 berths in First AC.

Improved interior and super-special features

Special care has been taken of modern facilities in Vande Bharat Sleeper Train. This includes automatic doors, bio-toilets, CCTV cameras, personal reading lights and premium quality comfortable interiors. The train is designed to run at a maximum speed of 160 km/h. Besides, advanced safety technologies like armor system, crash-proof design have also been installed in it. If needed, the number of coaches can be increased to 24.

Where will the train run from?

According to the information, Vande Bharat Sleeper will be operated on the lines of New Delhi-Rajendranagar Tejas Rajdhani Express. There is a plan to run it six days a week. This train from Patna will leave Rajendra Nagar Terminal in the evening and reach Delhi the next morning. Its return time will also be like that of Tejas Rajdhani.

Danapur division confirmed

Danapur Division has also confirmed that it is set to start regular operations of Vande Bharat Sleeper train by the end of this month. As soon as it starts, the travel experience for the passengers of Patna-Delhi route will completely change.
