
PM Kisan 22nd Installment: The 22nd installment of PM Kisan is going to arrive in the bank accounts of crores of farmers of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer Rs 2,000 each from Guwahati to the bank accounts of eligible farmers during his visit to Assam on Friday, March 13. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme, approximately Rs 19,000 crore will be released to 93 crore farmers across the country. PM Modi had released the 21st installment of PM Kisan on November 19 last year. Since then, crores of farmers across the country were eagerly waiting for the 22nd installment.
PM Modi will visit Assam on 13 and 14 March
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam on 13 and 14 March. During this visit, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 47,800 crore in Kokrajhar, Guwahati and Silchar. On March 13, at around 1:30 pm, the Prime Minister will perform the bhoomi pujan, lay the foundation stone and inaugurate projects worth more than Rs 4570 crore in Kokrajhar. Subsequently, at around 5 pm in Guwahati, the Prime Minister will perform the bhoomi pujan and inaugurate several development projects worth about Rs 19,680 crore.
Prime Minister will flag off 3 new trains
The Prime Minister will also flag off three new trains launched with the aim of improving connectivity in Assam and the North-Eastern region. These include the Kamakhya-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express, which will provide direct rail connectivity between North-East and South India. Guwahati-New Jalpaiguri Express, which will improve connectivity between Assam and West Bengal and Narangi-Agartala Express, which will ease inter-state travel for commuters, traders and tourists while improving connectivity between Assam and Tripura.
Foundation stone of cruise terminals will be laid in Biswanath and Jorhat districts
In the waterways sector, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for cruise terminals at Biswanath Ghat in Biswanath district and Nemati in Jorhat district. The Prime Minister will also perform the Bhoomi Pujan of the Regional Center of Excellence (RCoE) at Bogibeel, Dibrugarh, which will function as a premier maritime training and research center for the North Eastern region. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the approach road connecting Pandu Jetty to NH-27.
